After one has repented, the next step is baptism. The Bible tells us that baptism is "... not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God ..." 1 Peter 1:21
During baptism, a person is submersed in water signifying the death and burial of the individual with Christ. The individual is then raised up out of the water, signifying their new life in Christ.
Baptism is an act of obedience to Christ as he commanded his followers to be baptized. If you would like to take this step, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call the church and ask to speak to a minister at 770.748.7060.
